I am a teaching artist available for classes and one-on-one coaching

  • I have experience teaching young actors and adults in camp, after-school, masterclass, and pre-professional conservatory settings.

  • Holding an MA in Acting from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, I have a unique, first-hand perspective on the graduate school audition process in both the US and UK.

I believe in …

  • nurturing an artist’s unique point of view

  • the power of an uninhibited imagination and freedom of impulse

  • embracing individuality inside a collaborative ensemble

  • working safely with dangerous material

  • approaching work from a place of curiosity instead of judgement

  • risk-taking work ethic mixed with a sense of humor

Central to my teaching …

is self-care and self-respect. While I understand the work of an actor asks us to go to uncomfortable places imaginatively, emotionally, and physically, I believe in setting healthy boundaries in our work and exploring multiple “ways-in” to a moment – to keep a separation between the often personal work of an artist and the artist’s personal life. I do this with the goal of creating a safe space for exploration without sacrificing the integrity of the material being explored.

Let’s work together!
